Ras Mohamed National Park Mountain Bike Tour in Sharm El Sheikh
Bike Tour in Ras Mohamed National Park is a lovely experience especially for those who love Mountain Bike Ride.
Guests are picked up from the hotel in the morning by the transfer bus and have first driven to the Travco petrol station, where they have the possibility to rent the equipment for snorkeling if there is no equipment of their own.
At this meeting point, the guide of Sharm Mountain bike also awaits and welcomes the guests.
During the trip to the national park, there is detailed information on the transfer bus:
• The team introduces itself
• Travel time to the national park
• Briefing of the tour
• Information on the topics: drink a lot of water, sun protection, and waste disposal
• Point out that photographing the police is not allowed
Once you arrive at the national park, the first stop will take you to the “Panoramic view” and information about the national park, its name and origin will be explained. Then the bus will take you to the second stop, the “Gate of Alaa”. Here, the guests will get a detailed overview of the tour by a map of Ras Mohamed as well as a safety
instruction of the bicycles:
• Adjust the seat height
• How the brakes, front, and rear brakes work
Now all have enough time to adjust their bike to familiarize themselves with the bike and to drive a Trial. Everyone is given a bottle of water, which can be attached to the bike holder.
From here the bike is started and the transfer bus and a pick-up accompany the tour.
The next stop will be at “Suez Bay”, where the guests can go into the sea after a brief briefing by the snorkel guide and an introduction to the use of the snorkel equipment. Guests who do not want to snorkel can swim at the beach.
After about an hour in the Suez Bay, you continue by bike to the “Mangroves Canal”.
Then the southernmost point, the “Hidden Bay” and the “earthquake crack” are approached. To each of these stops, knowledge about nature and history is told and photos can be made.
Depending on the weather (strong wind), time, and perseverance of the guests, the “salty lake” can be visited.
At any time it is guaranteed that a guest can give his bike to the Pick-Up and thus continue with the transfer bus.
At the “gate of Alaa” Ras Mohamed National Park Gate, all bicycles will be loaded onto the Pick Up again and the transfer bus will take you to “Marsa Bareika Bay”. This is the last stop where the guests can finish the trip with cold drinks, tea, and snacks under a shaded tent. If you want, you can snorkel or go swimming. At noon the guests are taken back to the hotel.
